RS Lesson Links

Sisters,

We want to apologize as a Relief Society Presidency for not having the Lesson Links up to date and current.  With our recent change in First Counselors we have been trying to get the links up for you to listen to. We are going to try to have them caught up soon.  Here are the links to the lessons that we recorded in September.

The links will be coming up a bit different now.  We were spoiled by Kathryn Jolley and her husband with the links before and now we have come up with a new way now through a Google reader.  Let Jennifer or Tiffiny know if you have any problems opening up the links.

September 2, 2012 we were taught by Yvonne Rodabough to Forget Not your heritage and ancestors  What a wonderful lesson we were taught and message we received.

RS Lesson Links

Sisters -

My apologies for not having the RS Lesson links from June & July on the blog!  A bit of a computer issue at my house (and my lack of technical intelligence, truthfully) have been the problem.  But I'm back at it & ready to go!  Thanks for your patience.

We were beautifully taught by our bishop on the last Sunday of July.  We apologize for the recording - the recorder cut off about halfway through his amazing lesson.  Please listen to what we have.  We hope it will inspire you to ponder & pray over his words & his timely topic.  We know that you will be uplifted by his words.

Here is the link for the Bishop's lesson:

We were lucky to hear from our 2nd Counselor, Yvonne Rodabough, on the first Sunday in August.  She spoke on the theme: Forget Not Your Ancestors & Your Heritage.  She did a wonderful job & asked some thoughtful questions like "What kind of ancestor will I be?  What will the heritage be that I leave for my children, grandchildren?"  Great lesson!  Here is the link:

We are grateful for our faithful leaders who teach us the truths of the gospel!

With love,
Kathryn Jolley

Our New General Relief Society Presidency

General Conference was glorious! What an inspiring, thoughtful, uplifting Conference. We hope you had an opportunity to watch or listen to the messages from our prophet and our leaders.

Especially applicable to Relief Society - we have a new General Relief Society Presidency.

It's sad to say goodbye to Sis. Julie B. Beck, president, and her counselors Sis. Silvia H. Allred and Sis. Barbara Thompson. They have inspired us and guided us for many years. We are ever grateful to them for their service, their example, and their leadership.
