I have to apologize for taking so long to post these download links for our last few Relief Society lessons! The computer that had the software I use to prepare the mp3's was broken & it took awhile to get it fixed. Finally, we're up & running again!
We hope you took the opportunity to enjoy all the amazing sessions of General Conference last weekend. What an uplifting & inspiring weekend!

Super Saturday was AWESOME!!
Sisters,
A HUGE thanks goes to all those who helped make our Super Saturday activity such a success!!
The classes were well-attended and the teachers were great! Special thanks to Sis. Marty Watts, Sis. Saundra Gall, Sis. Eileen Pearson & Br. Russell Jolley for teaching us, preparing the crafts, and especially for all the hard work they put in preparing for their classes. Everyone had such a great time & learned many new things or went home with a fun new craft for their home.
It was wonderful to see so many of our ward sisters chatting & laughing together. The sounds of friends & laughter rang through the building.
Another HUGE thanks go to those who planned & supervised the Children's Class. Thanks for keeping the kids safe & happy, giving their moms an opportunity to enjoy their activities. You are very much appreciated!
Finally, another HUGE thanks to those who set up & cleaned up, filled the food tables with delicious goodies, and/or supported those who needed help. We appreciate you too!!
We're thrilled our activity went so well & we're already looking forward to our next one!
Love you, sisters!

RS Lesson Links
Sisters,
We've enjoyed some great lessons as we finished the month of August and began September! We hope you were all able to attend Stake Conference. There were some beautiful messages shared and we sustained our new Stake Presidency Counselor, Br. Carlton. It was especially great to see our Young Men & Women participating in the youth choir. They were AWESOME!!
Here are the links to our last two Relief Society lessons:
Aug. 21st, Teachings of Our Times - "The Eternal Blessings of Marriage" by Elder Richard G. Scott, lesson given by Tiffiny Fredrickson.
http://www.cleanlinemedia.com/JordanRiverWard/RS/2011_08_21_TOT_EternalBlessingsOfMarriage.zip
She was substituting (and visiting from Young Women) and gave a fabulous lesson!! Thanks so much, Sis. Fredrickson!
Our Presidency Message for September was given on Sept. 4th by Kathryn Jolley. The theme for September is "Becoming Called to Serve".
http://www.cleanlinemedia.com/JordanRiverWard/RS/2011_09_04_PresMsg_CalledToServe.zip
In her lesson, she referenced a Conference talk given by Elder Russell M. Nelson called "Perfection Pending". Here is the link for that talk:

Super Saturday - Sept. 17th
Our ward Super Saturday activity will be on Saturday, Sept. 17th, from 9:00am - 1:00pm at our church building.
We will be offering 3 classes and loads of crafts, plus some yummy food and a chance to hang out with your friends & neighbors! It's going to be a great activity!
All money due will need to be given to Yvonne Rodabough by Monday, Sept. 12th.
Here's a quick overview of the classes and the crafts we'll be offering:
PHOTOSHOP FOR THE HOME USER - no cost
Br. Jolley will be teaching two 1-hour classes on PhotoShop, beginning skills at 10:00am & intermediate skills at 11:00am. He'll introduce PhotoShop, teach the Top 5 home uses, & give you some quick tips in the beginning skills class. He'll move on to intermediate-advanced processes during the second hour.
After the classes are done, he'll be staying around if you want to continue to work/learn, ask questions, or practice the skills you've just learned. If you have a laptop with PhotoShop, feel free to bring it so you can work along with his lessons.
** He'd love to know what your specific interests are, if any, for this class. He wants to focus his time on the things that are of interest to you. So if you have a specific skill you'd like to learn or a question feel free to email him or call him anytime. He'll be sure to work your needs/interests into his skills lessons. rjolley@cleanlinemedia.com **
